A strong 5.8 magnitude tremor has hit the Pakistani capital Islamabad and other cities in the eastern Punjab province, leaving at least 19 people dead and 300 injured, officials said. This includes areas such as Kashmir where several villages have been reduced to rubble.

Muslim Aid has its team on the ground to support those affected in particular families with little or no support.
