Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The four of us, Annegret, Carsten, Gernot and Julie, SURVIVED the Shanghai half-marathon on 29 November 2009. Most of us had never done a half-marathon before but we trained really, really hard in the months before and gave our best on the day. All of us had a great run and successfully completed the half-marathon.  We are now trying to recover from the big event and waiting for our knees to get better. We are also still continuing to raise funds for a good cause, so our pains were not in vain. All the money we have raised until now and will raise during the next few days will go directly to the COCOA charity, which supports orphans and abandoned children in China.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
