Cat Friendly Solutions for Unowned Cats is an International Cat Care project to provide support for the global community of people working with unowned cats, whether they help feral or street cats or pet cats in homing centres or foster care waiting for their forever homes. Cat welfare varies enormously throughout the world influenced by available resources, climate, culture, legislation etc. Cats deserve our respect, whatever their lifestyle and wherever they live. 

Many of us have had holidays where we have seen thin and sickly-looking cats and worried about them on our return home. The Cat Friendly Solutions for Unowned Cats project supports cat champions in those countries to improve the welfare of their cats, not just a handful, but potentially thousands. Ensuring people have good knowledge and plan well means that resources are used efficiently and more cats can be helped.
