Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Vale Longo’s JustGiving page.

Vale Longo FC who play in Division 1A of the Norwich & District Sunday League have decided to run the Norwich Half Marathon in aid of The Prostate Charity.  Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men in the UK. 37,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. 250,000 men are currently living with the disease.  We’re not expecting record breaking times, just to finish for most of us would be an achievement.

Everyone running has their own reasons for wanting to raise as much money as possible so anything you can give would hugely be appreciated by the members of the team running and the club as a whole.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
