This is a first for me. I'm taking part in 'Scotland sings for Water', and will be joining several hundred others on July 2nd - we'll be gathering in Parliament Sq. on the Royal Mile to sing from 1pm to about 3.30.

WaterAid is a hugely efficient and effective charity, giving a large percentage of the money raised back into projects where community involvement is valued and expected. Raising money for them is a great way to give something back to countries whose songs we sing but who have no system of collecting royalties. Regardless of singing, I've been supporting them for many years.
