The Hannah Memorial Academy is a charitable trust dedicated to supporting a school in Darjeeling built in memory of Hampshire schoolgirl Hannah Foster. Story

Inspired by talks from adventurer Alastair Humphreys and Hannah Memorial Academy trustee Christine Browning, we have decided to host a sponsored 1,718km virtual bike ride. Travelling the distance from our London HQ to our Spanish office in Madrid, to join our colleagues in time for the first stage of the Vuelta a España, which starts on August 24.

Hotwire staff in the UK will take it in turns to jointly cycle the distance in the five days between August 19 and 23.

For more information and to follow the journey, please visit the Hotwire microsite.
