Donating to Margaret Green Animal Rescue

Jurassic Coast Challenge 2018 · 21 July 2018 to 22 July 2018 ·
Margaret Green Animal Rescue takes in pets who have become homeless due to change in circumstances, or who have been neglected, mistreated or abandoned. They care for over 1,200 animals each year across 3 centers in Dorset and Devon.
Clare and I are both vets, so any charity supporting vulnerable animals lies very close to our hearts. Margaret Green is particularly special to me as it's where I found Tilly, my American Bulldog cross. She arrived at the shelter only 7 weeks old with her brother as they were part of an unwanted litter. Having just lost my Mum and our family dog in the same month, it turned out that having the world's naughtiest puppy around was the perfect distraction.
At 2 years old she is still just as naughty, but has made me laugh every day since I've had her and has brought so much happiness into my family's life.
