Hellooooo lovely Friends

 

My buddy Maria made the mistake of telling me about the British Heart Foundation Bournemouth Pier to Pier 2011 and getting a bee in my bonnet I pretty much signed us up.

 

The charity swim will involve us along with 500+ other people braving the coldness of the English Channel and swimming from Bournemouth to Boscombe Pier.

 

Although after each training secession involves a sneaky fag, a yummy toasty tea and vegging out in front of the telly.....  Over the past been 6 Months we have been working really really hard and have swim lengths documented to prove it. I have also learnt to swim front crawl at the speed of light and crazy swim technique with Noodles....Swimming is great form of exercise and this event has increased our stamina in the water...
