Every year the leavers from Maidwell hall all do a challenging walk in different places, this year we have chosen to to walk in the Brecon Beacons. We will be supporting the Elifar foundation, this is a charity that surports disabled children enabling them to enjoy there lives. Elifar is a small, voluntary charity meaning that every penny that we raise goes to those people in need this will enable them to get those facilities that they need whether it's to do with survival or just day to day enjoyment. The way that we plan to raise money for this amazing charity is that we will be walking completely unsupported for 40 miles over 3 days with a 65 litre rucksack of which will be carrying our clothes, food and cookers along with our gas bottles and tents.
