By supporting Macmillan in this way we will be providing much needed financial support to a Charity who provide magnificent care to patients and their famillies at the worst possible time.

I know from personal experience the almost magical effect Macmillan have when they become involved with a family. I lost my Father to cancer a few years ago. When things were really bad Dad really didn't want to spend his last days in Hospital.

It was around this time that Macmillan were visiting Dad to make sure he was as comfortable as possible. When we told them Dad would like to spend his last days at home, the Macmillan machinary sprung in action. In what seemed like a few hours a bed and all the medical paraphenalia Dad needed was delivered to Moms house. The guys helped us move furniture around and set up the bed in Mom's front room.

This is where Dad spent his last days with us, at home and as comfortable as he possibly could have been.

My Mom, Brother and myself will never forget how Macmillan made Dads last wish a reality. Truly unbelieveable.
