Vivek Shah is raising money for Ochre - The Oesophageal Cancer Charity
Story
Mission: Complete the 12 miles of a brutal obstacle course regarded as one of the toughest events on the planet
Date: Sunday 27th April 2014
Location: Oxfordshire
Reason: OCHRE is a great charity designed to to bring awareness and help fund diagnostic equipment for patients with oesophageal cancer. Vivek's dad had the unfortunate news of being diagnosed with it in march 2013 but as it was caught so early, prompt treatment meant he beat it.
A healthy man with no previous medical conditions, history of smoking or drinking alcohol. It can happen to anyone. I urge you to put your hands in your pockets and find whatever it may be to donate to this great cause.
As a treat if we reach our target of £750 we will run the extreme obstacle course in special outfits (yet to be decided)
