Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am hoping to complete the Nottingham Outlaw Ironman Triathlon at Holme Pierrepont on Sunday 8th August,  a 2.4 mile swim, 116 mile bike ride followed by a 26.2 mile run !! Money raised will go towards the Nottingham Children's Hospital (for children with diabetes), and Under Tree Schools.

Under Tree Schools is not an Irish kindergarten, but a girls school in Sudan, a country where education for women is very poor, especially after their recent civil war. This school  has been set up by two friends of mine,  Karin, who is Swiss like me, and Joseph, her Sudanese husband. They are a registered charity, number 1117679, registered office 11 Foinavon Close, Rowley Regis West Midlands B65 8QB.

If you would like to donate to this charity it would be best if you give me the money in cash and I will then pass it on as just giving can't be set up for two charities.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. They won't sell your details or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, your money is sent directly to the charity and Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s efficient - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please do donate.
