So I am raising money for The Adam Stansfield Foundation. Adam Stansfield was (and still is) one of Exeter City FC’s heroes. He sadly passed away at the young age of 31, succumbing to cancer, whilst in the peak of his footballing career. His name is now honoured by the Trust formed in his name to ensure the children and young people can get funds to keep grassroots clubs & schools going whilst also raising awareness of cancer (specifically bowel cancer).

The foundation fulfils both it’s aims by ensuring that clubs and schools have access to new equipment, etc... whilst trying to encourage our youth to be more active (as with excess body fat then the chances of having a diagnosis of cancer increases); and helping kids understand what nutrients to eat.

It is my honour to (immortalise Adams great name by raising as much as possible for his Trust’) walk 9 miles and help raise much needed funds ...please dig deep if you can.
