Story

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy day to visit our Fundraising page.

Our friend and colleague Jack Warren and his family are going through a very tough time.  Little 6 year old Arthur, Jack’s son, was diagnosed with Wilms cancer in February of this year. Arthur has been a superstar and fighting every step of the way. He has had his tumour removed successfully and now has 6 months of treatment ahead of him. He is doing amazingly, and we want to support him and his family on this journey as much as we can.

We invite you to join us on an adventure in May as together we will Walk Around the World for Arthur - #walkforarthur.
Virtually starting at our offices in Birmingham, we will collectively walk to as many cities around the world in May before returning to Birmingham. We may even stop off at some very exciting destinations including Disneyland, some of the natural wonders of the world as well as a bit of R&R on the beach as we go.

We are doing this to support the Cambridge Children’s Hospital. This is a fantastic charity close to the Warren Family’s heart. Our target is to raise a whooping £15,000 between us – what an achievement this would be!

This is a great opportunity for us all to support Jack and his family during this extremely challenging time whilst also looking after our own wellbeing and enjoying some much needed fresh air and exercise.  Thank you to anyone who is supporting this amazing cause and helps to raise as much money as possible for the Cambridge Children's Hospital.

About the charity

We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.
