Rocco is 2 years old and was diagnosed with stage 4 high risk Neuroblastoma in Feb 2021. Rocco is now undergoing treatment on the NHS. We are aiming to raise £230,000 to access the bivalent vaccine trial to increase Rocco's survival chances.

Story

Rocco is a huge football fan, so we thought we would honour this by walking 20 miles from Sunderland's Stadium of Light to Newcastle's St James' Park, on Sunday 17th October.

It’ll be a gruelling challenge taking us north from Sunderland, crossing the River Tyne on the ferry and then following Hadrian’s Cycleway into the heart of Newcastle, in time for Newcastle United’s match against Tottenham.

The walkers include Rocco’s close family, family friends and a group of teachers from his big brother’s school.
