Hello all! Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those of you who've come here from my blog, thank you ever so much, and you know what this is all about. For those of you who haven't, here's the link: http://www.walkingby2013.blogspot.co.uk and a short precis of my mission.

I have Cerebral Palsy and have used an electric wheelchair for most of my life. It's been a lifelong dream to walk independently. In 2008, I had a rather difficult time medically and physically, due to which I almost entirely lost hope of ever reaching my goal. I was referred to Starlight for a wish and they granted it in 2010, when I met Keira Knightley and thanked her for (unknowingly) helping me through that rough patch so that I could go back to Sixth Form and study for my A Levels.

Starlight and Keira genuinely turned my life around and the last two years (during which I got a place at Warwick, where I'm now in my second year) have been spent getting back to the physical state that I was in before. I have once again been able to dream that, with hard work and a positive attitude, I might just achieve my goal.

I'm on a mission to walk and collect my degree certificate when I graduate this time next year. I desperately want to give something back to the charity who helped me, so they can change other children's lives, and can't think of a more fitting way to do so than as part of a journey on which they have been so important.

Most of my updates will be on my blog (once again, http://www.walkingby2013.blogspot.co.uk) but I'll of course update here as well.
