On March 21st, eleven members from The University of Warwick’s Mens and Ladies Hockey clubs will attempt to run the Stafford Half Marathon for two fantastic causes…
Kenilworth Helping Hands is a charity caring for adults with learning and physical disabilities. The club’s philosophy focuses on improving the welfare and social life of these individuals through the provision of a range of activities including karaoke evenings, arts & crafts workshops and weekend trips. The charity is run entirely by volunteers and is always in need of funds to facilitate these events.

The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign supports the work and vision of The Royal Marsden Hospital. 40,000 patients are treated at Royal Marsden every year and the hospital relies on fundraising to facilitate groundbreaking research as well as improving the hospitals equipment and facilities. Consequently, the survival rates of the patients treated here have increased dramatically.

This is where we need your help…we urge you to get behind the runners and more importantly our adopted charities by sponsoring us. I’m sure you will agree that the work of both Kenilworth Helping Hands and The Royal Marsden is extremely worthwhile so please give generously and help to improve the lives of those less fortunate.
And should you need one, here is an added incentive to give to these causes…The more money we raise, the sillier our fancy dress costumes on the day will be! Here’s a little look at the degrees of humiliation you have the ability to cast upon on –
