Story

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. They provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care. Cancer affects us all. We can all help.

The new Oncology department, currently being constructed by Willmott Dixon at Prince Charles Hospital Merthyr for Macmillan has a scheduled completion date for April 2010. This has only been feasible through local fundraising and support by the Macmillan team who have managed to raise over £1m in a record time.
However, the quest goes on to continue to fund, operate and support projects like this.
The Willmott Dixon teams at Oncology (Prince Charles Hospital) and Ward refurbishment (Prince Charles Hospital) have agreed to participate in the Llanelli Half Marathon this year on behalf of the
Macmillan trust and will be joined in the run by design team members and clients and staff (and friends!) from both Cardiff and Bristol offices.
We would like to donate any monies raised in support of Macmillan Trust.

The team are:

Kevin Collins, Gerwyn Neale, Ceri Gullett, Darren Hancock, Andy Miles, Gareth Shaw, Jon Pritchard, Simon Knoyle, Ashley Pickin, Alun Neale,  Phillip Andrews, David Edwards, Jason Hill, Martin Bennett, Ian Jones, Simon Williams, Paul Lane, Bill Kent, Jarrod Wilson, Huw Neale, Neal Stephens, Gareth Rees, Steve Clarke,Tom Millard, Steve Birchenough, Lisa Moffat, Rob Woolcock, Wing Wong, Jonathan Thomas, David Fowler and James Watkins.
