Story

Being homeless isn't always easy to spot... and it doesn't always just mean sleeping rough. Many people move daily from one sofa to another, asking friends and family to put them up,  but they remain hidden. So whilst they may have someone else's roof over their head for the moment, sofa surfers are still homeless and they need our help.

That is why for the third year running team Weightmans has teamed up with the Leeds office charity of the year Simon on the Streets to help raise awareness and funds for those struggling with  homelessness in West Yorkshire.

Whilst the 'Sleep with Simon' event is normally an annual sleep out where participants take to the streets overnight, 2020 has been anything but normal for everyone. As such, this year we will be choosing to spend one night sleeping on our sofas. This act cannot replicate the horror faced by those forced to do this every night, but it is designed to educated and raise awareness of the issue, as well as bringing in much needed funds so that someone else may never be forced to.

Thank you for your support.
