The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice, situated in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, exists to help our patients achieve the best quality of life possible in whatever time remains for them. Where it may not be possible to add days to lives, we aim to add life to days for patients and their families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Westcrowns Bike Challenge is a 63 mile cycle from Edinburgh to Glasgow on the 30th May 2010. There are 16 hardy souls aiming to raise some much needed funds for the Prince & Princess Hospice. We leave Edinburgh early on 30th for a leisurely 32 mile cycle along the Union canal cycle path to Falkirk for some lunch (and running repairs). Following which we jump to the Forth & Clyde canal for the 31 mile sprint into Glasgow!! (We've been told it's all downhill from Falkirk!!)

We would appreciate your donations, which will all go to such a deserving cause. The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice  is based in Glasgow and does a fantastic job in bringing comfort and peace of mind to patients for whom cure unfortunately is no longer possible. The aim is to help patients achieve the best possible quality of life in the time remaining to them and to face the inevitable in comfort and dignity.
