Helford River Childrens Sailing Trust is raising funds to provide 150 free places for disadvantaged children on our 2021 sailing course.

Story

Starting on the 7 of December I will be wearing a wetsuit for 5 whole days to raise money for the 2021 schools sailing season. Throughout the week I will be attending meetings, doing the school pick up and shopping all in my wetsuit!  Its going to get a little smelly at times and quite uncomfortable but its all for a great cause helping to break down the financial barrier for children to learn to sail.

You can follow updates here or on the HRCST Facebook page throughout the week.

The Children's Sailing Trust provides schools sailing lessons to over 600 children a year on the Helford River in Cornwall. Learning sailing and watersports gives children of all abilities independence and self-confidence, fostering leadership, team-working and decision-making skills for life. Sailing is a transformative experience for the children taking part, so we want to keep lessons affordable or free of charge, so this opportunity is available to all. Donate to the Helford River Children's Sailing Trust and help us to fund 150 free places for disadvantaged children on our schools sailing course.

Thank you for your support.
