Story

Hello Visitor,

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page, feel free to share it with all your friends and family.

Who are those guys ?
Mo, 28 years, Lebanese & Kevin, 25 years-ish, French.
Different cultures but a shared passion : FOOD !

What do they try to achieve ?
They will swim a mile in the quite refreshing water of the Loch Ness on the 17th of August 2013.

Why would they do that ?
As they both leaved their home country for the United Kingdom they had to learn the local tradition of the geordie night out. One night Mo told Kevin : "Did you know that every year there are some people who swim in the Loch Ness?"... 5 minutes later, without thinking of the little details (10ºC water, none of them really able to swim more than 40m without stopping for 5minutes to recover, a potential monster...) they both agreed that they will do it.

Why raising money for Marie Curie ?
They both discovered that in the UK when you take upon a challenge it is kind of a tradition to raise money for a good cause. They choosed Marie Curie Cancer Care, a charity dedicated to the care of people with terminal illness. In 2012/2013 it's more than 35000 people who will be helped by MCCC, so be generous :)
