The MS Challenge is a 10km run, bog slog and swim through the wettest of upland forests above Capel Curig in North Wales, carrying a passenger with Multiple Sclerosis in a wheelchair.
Whitchurch Rugby Club has taken part in the MS Challenge over the last seven years and last year we raised over £2500. This year we are joined by a second team "TooPoshToPush", carrying our friend Amanda Blackham. The Challenge is such an important fundraising event and we really hope raise the most money possible to support this fantastic chairty.
It is a great, wet, muddy day out; physically demanding; an opportunity to wear a skirt ; and a terrifying ordeal for Alison and Amanda our passengers (who gets hauled through forests and bogs - and see the lads take the team bath in the river), but ultimately it is about raising money.
Many of you will have generously supported us in the past and we are very grateful but please do give what ever you can this year to help us support the brilliant work of the Chester MS Centre.
A Pro video was made of the challenge last year our team makes a couple of fleeting (but impressive) appearances amid other teams http://www.mssupport.co.uk/mschallenge.asp
Please do support us if you can
