Adrian was a great friend and a brilliant journalist and blogger. Anthony Nolan helped him find a donor for a bone marrow transplant and he led a national campaign on their behalf, meeting the Prime Minister, charming Natasha Kaplinsky and winning the heart of Sean Bean.
