Willow Suite is a midwifery led unit on the first floor of the Princess of Wales Maternity Unit at Heartlands Hospital. It has three rooms, one with a birthing pool and is a place for all women receiving midwifery led care to give birth. 

The unit has been designed to provide an intimate and comfortable environment for women to have their baby privately with the support of birth partners and dedicated midwives.  In order to encourage the natural process of childbirth and a new baby becoming part of the family, we support an early discharge home directly from Willow Suite.

The Willow Suite midwives are experienced at providing 'low risk' care to facilitate normal birth and are passionate about providing a natural and individual birth experience.

We are hoping to raise funds to enhance the environment and facilities that we already have. Also, to provide some new equipment that is not available with funding from the NHS to make the 'home from home' birthing experience even more comfortable for both mothers and their families. All donations to this cause are greatly appreciated.
