Story

Please help us pay for Willow's operation!

Six year old Rottweiler Willow urgently needed a life-changing operation to repair the cruciate ligament in her back leg. Without the operation Willow would have been in huge amounts of pain and would have caused severe lameness.

Thankfully Willow is recovering well but her operation cost £800. Extra veterinary costs such as this put a huge strain on our resources especially as the number of abandoned and stray animals continues to increase.

Helen Chittock, manager at Lincoln Farm said:

“Willow is a very friendly, gentle dog. In addition to her surgery, she suffers from ataxia which is a neurological condition that causes her to be a little uncoordinated when she moves, resulting in a wobbly gait.

Her condition causes her few problems and we would love to find Willow a foster home whilst she recovers from her operation, or better still a permanent loving home."
