Hi guys thanks for the sponsors/donations :) feeling the love! Lol! Remember to keep reading my blog www.woodyswardrobe.buzznet.com xx

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am starting a new challenge throughout the year 2012 to not buy any new clothes at all and to utilise the wardrobe I already have. There are 2 main reasons for doing this, the first is that I am trying to save for a house deposit and the other is to raise money and awareness for McMillan Cancer Trust.

For those people who know me, it is perfectly clear that I love fashion. I get fashion mags weekley and monthly and will think nothing of nipping down to town to buy a new outfit that generally I dont need. The money I spend each month on average totals about £100, half of this will be going straight into savings and the other half will be going to McMillan.

A couple of months ago I came across an article of someone who had done this to raise money, who was going through her own ‘no-new clothes for a year’ and it spurred me to have a go too. Why? You ask… Well…the reasons why I have made clear at the beginning on this. But why McMillan? well.....

On the 3rd November this year, someone very close to me passed away to cancer. He was one of my best friends dads, Woody. He was one of the coolest guys I have ever met, he was like a father to me and when he passed I was crushed! I still am crushed. He was diagnosed only a month before he passed away and the McMillan nurses made his end just a little bit easier. His daughter is a true inspiration and has a lot of ideas for fundraisers, and naturally I wanted to do my part.
The £50 I am donating each month will be added on here. If you would like to make a donation to this amazing charity all you have to do is click.
As an added note, I will be blogging my progress on the following site:
Thanks
