I am a survivor of testicular cancer, which had spread to the lymphnodes in my chest and abdomen - it took fourteen months, but I'm happy to say that I'm now all clear. During that time, Checkemlads were there for me and my family every step of the way, and helped me to beat this disease and cope with life after cancer. I want to give something back, and join the fight to raise awareness - early detection can save lives.

Last August, I was so weak I couldn't even make it up the stairs to my flat, I needed help to wash and dress myself and couldn't make it to the toilet alone. This August, I'll be joining other survivors and fighters along with friends and family to conquer Snowdon - so if you can donate to a charity that helped to save my life that would be pretty awesome of you x
