The West Highland Way and The Great Glen Way · 5 August 2006

We are Scope. We campaign to transform attitudes to disability, tackle injustice and inspire action. We create opportunities and provide information and support that empowers.

Story

Thank you very much to everyone who sponsored us on the walk. It was very hard going but we did it and managed to raise £1,174.30. We expect that this amount will increase once Gift Aid has been reclaimed. For a bit of blurb and some photos taken on the walk, please go to http://yompers.blogspot.com  Many thanks to you all once again on behalf of ourselves and SCOPE.

Glasgow to Inverness on foot…168 miles of it…Dave Clazy, and his partner Kathryn, will be walking The West Highland Way and The Great Glen Way on a self-funded adventure to raise money for SCOPE.

SCOPE have helped and supported Kathryn in the past by fighting for rights for her twin daughters Jordan and Laura who both suffer from Cerebral Palsy. We would like to give back, and to support SCOPE in raising much needed funds to continue with their valuable work.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: SCOPE will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer and you pay your taxes on your hard earned cash, then The Inland Revenue will have to stump up an extra 28% in tax and this will be added to your gift at no cost to you. You know you want to do it, so get on with it : Every penny earned will go to charity.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

Dave & Kathryn
