This year Young's Seafood and friends are taking on a massive challenge: cycling 144 miles, 500 meters above sea level, from Grimsby to Liverpool, all to raise money for the Imagine Appeal.

 

The Imagine Appeal is the fundraising arm of Alder Hey Children's Hospital. Alder Hey sees over 200,000 children every year. With over 300 beds and a newly built oncology unit the hospital is extermely busy with children and their families.

 

The money we raise will aim to help make the children's stay in the hospital a little more comfortable by providing things like personal TVs at the end of patients beds, pull down beds so that parents can stay over and lots more.

 

Not only is this a massive personal challenge to many of the individuals taking part, this is also a massive challenge for our company as we've set a massive fundraising target of £25,000!
