Story
In the run up to my 25 birthday I became ever so slightly fixated on the fact that my quarter century deserved greater celebration than just getting pissed in a pub. I did that too of course – I mean it’s only right – but I wanted to do something a little more to bring in my 25 year of life.
Because of this, I devised a little challenge for myself. I would complete 25 challenges over the course of my 25 year and blog about my progress over the 12 months. In addition to this, I would let my dear friends chose the challenges, so that I would get a full range of interesting tasks which hopefully people would come and join me on.
Who needs enemies when you have friends like mine is all I can say! Due to their overactive imaginations and perverse sense of humour I have skinny dipped in the North Sea in the middle of winter, spent a day saying ‘Yes’ to whatever was asked of me, and am currently training for a marathon…! The full list of my challenges is below and the stories of my accomplishments can be found on my site here:
Please feel free to join my facebook group as well to see what’s’ going on, join in with a challenge, or simply have a laugh at my expense:

As you can see it’s quite a hefty challenge. I’ve completed 6 and have started 7 of the longer projects, so there’s still a long way to go. I’d love it if you’d follow my journey and get involved whenever and wherever you’d like – it’s really a case of the more the merrier. Plus who wouldn’t want to Hippity Hop down the full 1.2 miles of Oxford Street?
I’ve also chosen two charities to support over the course of the year. Both have hugely worthy causes and work tirelessly to help two of the most vulnerable members of our society – children and the homeless. Please support them and me by sponsoring us on this page. Every penny we raise will go towards facilitating their work and can help improve someone’s life.
As ever, if you want any more information, or details of the up and coming challenges, or anything in fact, ring/email/text/send a carrier pigeon (delete as appropriate!). For my part I promise to keep you posted with the stories (the good the bad and the ugly!) and let you know how we’re getting on.
In the meantime, wish me luck!! x
