Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm really excited to tell you that I have been selected to volunteer overseas with Balloon Ventures on an International Citizen Service placement.
ICS works with developing communities in Uganda, Kenya and Ghana. It also aims to inspire young people in the UK and overseas to become active citizens who are passionate about long term community development.
My first challenge is to raise £1,500. Your contributions will go towards enabling the overall costs of ICS, so that they can continue to send volunteers abroad to make a difference in the disadvantaged communities in the developing world.
In January I will travel to Africa for 3 months, where I will help local entrepreneurs launch their business ideas, creating jobs which will improve the lives of the local people and fight poverty in their community.
