Read more about why we've decided to Ride the Night below...

Early in 2016, Christine went to the doctor with symptoms of what would eventually turn out to be ovarian cancer. A hysterectomy and 18 weeks of chemotherapy quickly followed. By November of that same year, she went into remission and is now back to her fit, healthy, happy, hardworking self.

Without the early diagnosis and incredible treatment she received, the outcome could have been very different. As well as raising money, we want to raise awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer. Above all, know what is normal for your body and if something doesn't feel right, go and get it checked out!

Is it time for bed yet?

We've decided to take on Ride the Night because it will be a real challenge for all four of us. Not least because we'll be setting off at 10pm on a Saturday when we'd normally be curled up on the sofa with a glass of wine! The ride will take us from the starting line at Windsor racecourse, all the way to Waterloo Bridge and back again, and should take us around 5 hours! We're hoping the Queen has a room set up for us at Windsor Castle when we roll in at around 3am.

You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us reach this goal.

Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. They'll make sure Gift Aid (an additional 25%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
