Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As Edinburgh Airport has taken on one of the largest amount of saltire scholars this summer amongst all host companies, we have decided to team up and utilise these numbers to really push the boundaries for our fundraising efforts.

We will be participating in a number of events both internally and externally at the Airport to raise money for this year's chosen charity SAMH. These events include:

Cycle to Amsterdam
As Amsterdam is Edinburgh Airport's most popular International destination, we are taking on the challenge of cycling the distance (410 miles) in one day! This will be a combination of staff efforts from across different departments. We have paired up with the Digital Team, who will be tracking our progress throughout the day and involving passengers in our efforts.

Walk up Ben Lomond
At the end of our internship we will be trekking up Ben Lomond to reach the 990m summit. This will be physically challenging and involve team work along the way. We will be sporting SAMH t-shirts and accessories whilst completing the climb, and really aim to publicise this event to increase the awareness of the cause.

We will also be hosting a staff charity raffle with some exciting prizes, and a coffee morning in the Terminal building over the next few weeks. Our aim is to go above and beyond our target, whilst getting everyone involved in our efforts!

About the charity

Our Foundation's mission is to find, grow and connect the next generation of confident, globally-minded business leaders determined to enhance Scotland’s economic prospects.
