Dear Lovely Friends & Family,

It is with so much excitement and a dose of trepidation that I confirm that I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in June 2010. The 17th - 27th to be exact.  The very exciting bit is that I am climbing with an awesome gang of one brother ( ZiG),old friends  ( Ricky, Liam, Sam & Amanda) and many new friends.

That fantastic charity we are supporting in this instance is the MAD FOUNDATION. Headed up by the Chief John Lawler, this charity works tirelessly to raise money  to assist those far less fortunate than ourselves in the world's poorest countries. Enormous amounts of time, effort and cash has been invested into raising the standards of living to assist in reducing poverty in the basic areas of housing, schooling, sanitation, education, transport systems etc. The things we take for granted on a daily basis.

After our 5 day trek we will spend  a few days assisting with the development of a village in East Africa that the charity is directly supporting.

So all I ask of you is for a donation to this worthy cause. Please convert your hard earned cash into bricks and mortar, medicine & clean water where it will be far more appreciated and of a greater value than behind any bar, in Sainsburys or Starbucks!  I am paying for my flight and trek costs.
