Weʼve raised £80 to repair vandalised changing rooms at Fosters, Wigan, following a break in which saw furniture burned, windows smashed & doors ripped out.

Funded on Thursday, 25th July 2019

    Story

We were the subject of vandalism when our changing rooms were broken into, with most of the furniture (tables and chairs) taken outside and burned which also destroyed the childrens park also on site.

All eight windows were smashed and need replacing, both the changing room doors were kicked in and ripped out and damaged, all this these need to be replaced before the changing rooms are functional and usable again, this will cost £1500.

The chairs, seats and tables that were all donated all need replacing too, in order to start using the changing rooms properly again, which will cost £1500, so along with the damage to the doors and windows, the total cost of the damage add up to £3000.

Obviously this sort of destruction is a big blow to any grassroots football club who make enough money just to get by and provide sporting opportunities for all of its members and the 12 other teams playing on site.

This has been a big blow for all of us at the club, the community and all the teams who use the facility and has put us 3 changing rooms down at present, with more teams having to share changing facilities now.

We would be extremely grateful to anyone who could donate to the club in order to get the changing rooms back up and running for all our home and visiting teams who use the facility at Fosters Playing Fields, Ince, Wigan.

All donations are welcome, thank you for support in advance.
