On June 17th, I will be taking part in a 12 hour football marathon in London. 

What exactly is a football marathon you ask? 64 teams will enter and play 6-a-side games for 12 hours resulting in one winning team.

Games are 20 minutes each and teams operate on a "7 on, 1 off" basis. This means that we'll play 7 games in a row, have a 20 minute break to eat / use the bathroom and then play another 7 and so on. The tournament runs from 8am - 8pm. 

The football marathon is TackleAfrica's biggest fundraising event.  We will play football pretty much non-stop for 12 hours to help raise money for this amazing charity.

Whilst it's unlikely that we'll win the tournament, we will keep on running, walking and crawling until the bitter end to support this charity.  Please give generously.
