We breed and train guide dogs to give blind people freedom and mobility

Story

Hey everyone it's come to that time of year when Saffy and I prepare for our next fundraising event. This year it is another Go Walkies but with a bit of a difference! We are making the trip up to Blackpool to walk from the North Pier and stroll along the Prom for the 2 1/2 miles to South Pier before making the return journey with the Guide-Dogs. Please support us for a cause that is so close to our hearts and thank you to everyone that has or will donate.

For those of you that supported us last year you will know that we support Guide Dogs to raise money because they are a fantastic cause. My Mum and Cady (her guide-dog) have been working together for 6 years but sadly this year Cady lost his sight so now we are looking to raise money not only to support the work Guide-Dogs have done with Mum and Cady over these years but to support them in helping to train a new guide-dog for Mum.

The money that you donate will all go towards the charity as I will be paying for our travel and accommodation from my own pocket so every penny counts and please help us.

We are being joined by Mrs Hazel Palmer and if we reach £250 it will be matched by the Royal Bank of Scotland!

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
