This year we are proudly celebrating Stonyhursts Rugby Centenary. In recognition of this special anniversary, we have set ourselves the challenge to pass a rugby ball over the furthest distance ever recorded, with an ultimate goal of 1km. As this will be a sponsored event, with the funds raised contributing towards a Sports Bursary within The Stonyhurst Foundation, we would be delighted to have your support!

By completing this event we will be celebrating not only our proud milestone of 100 years of rugby, but also to Passing It On by raising money for the new Sports Bursary Fund.

Every pupil will take part in this activity, throwing the ball over a 2 metre distance, to play their part in creating an opportunity for another young person to be able to join the Stonyhurst family.

We are inviting all parents to donate towards this activity, to help us on our way.

This can be done by donating per throw, to a total of 500 throws. For example, 1p per throw would equal £5, 10p per throw would equal £50, 20p per throw would equal £100 etc. Or, you could simply give a total amount if you preferred.

Any amount given would be a hugely appreciated contribution to supporting our Sponsored Pass and making the Stonyhurst experience possible for a future pupil.
