Endometriosis affects 1 in 10 women in their reproductive years and it takes an average of 7.5 years to diagnose this condition. It cause debilitating pain and infertility in some. These brave women suffer through their  pain most days and try to push through their suffering to function everyday if they could. 

As a specialist nurse, I see them everyday and try to help as much as I can. But surgery and drugs is not enough. They need to be listened to and believed in when they say they are in pain. 

Endometriosis UK is a brilliant support for these courageous women. They offer information and raise awareness. They are a very important complement to us health care professionals in helping out endo sufferers.
