Hi all,

Ed Ford and I are packing in our jobs and all the mod cons you could wish for to spend 6 months walking the entire 2663 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, from Mexico to Canada, living out of a backpack.

Why? That's a question we're beginning to ask ourselves...  But with visas approved, flights booked and permits applied for, we're off. Can't back out now. This. Is. Happening.

So instead of fundraising for the usual half- or full marathon, we are fundraising for 101. We are attempting to raise a pound for every mile, in memory of loved ones lost to cancer, and to help in the fight against the disease. If we ever feel like stopping, or that we can't go on, the knowledge that it will affect the total donations will keep us plodding on.
