12 Peak Challenge
Fundraising for Cancer Research UK
Story
After successfully completing the National Three Peak challenge in 2008 and a walk across Wales in 2009, the dynamic Compass Group* walkers have set their sights high for 2010.
On June 4th, the team will attempt the 12 Peak Challenge across the Lake District - a real test of endurance! They will attempt to complete this feat within 18 hours.
The 12 peaks in question are: Dale Head 754m, Hindscarth 727m, Robinson 737m, Red Pike 756m, High Stile 807m, High Crag 744m, Hay Stacks 597m, Brandreth 715m, Green Gable 801m, Great Gable 899m, Scafell Pike 978m and Esk Pike 885m.
