Win 2 tickets to the 2010 Heineken Cup Final, plus hotel accommodation!!!

On 25th April 2010, myself and 4 equally unfit friends will be attempting to complete the London Marathon in order to raise money for 2 great charities; The Children's Trust and The National Society for Epilepsy. We're running as Team Ross, inspired by my son Ross who was born in May 2008 suffering from a severe and rare form of epilepsy. Whilst his seizures have been under control for many months, Ross's brain activity is not normal and as such his mental development has so far been very limited. See our main fundraising pages www.justgiving.com/ross2010 and www.justgiving.com/ross2010epilepsy for more details.

In order to boost our fundraising we're offering you the chance to win 2 tickets to the 2010 Heineken Cup Final and a premium double/twin hotel room including breakfast for 2 nights, 21st & 22nd May, at the Marriott Courtyard Colombes http://www.courtyardcolombes.fr/ (travel not included) in our "131 miles in how long?" sweepstake. All you have to do is click on the "Donate" button below, donate £5.00 for each entry you want into the sweepstake, ensure you enter an email address we can contact you on in the event that you win, and in the message box enter your guess for what will be the cumulative time it will take the 5 of us to finish the marathon (please use hh/mm/ss format).

The final is to be held in Stade de France in Paris at 6pm on Saturday 22nd May (note - the prize is for match tickets and hotel only; the winner must fund their own travel). You can enter as often as you like; if you wish to enter 5 times, just donate £25 and enter 5 guesses in the message box. Note - you will not be receiving a ticket, product or service for this donation so we should be able to benefit from Gift Aid.

To help you guess something in the right ball-park, each of us have summarised our expected state of fitness and estimated finish time below. In the event of one of use not being able to run through injury, our estimated times below will be used.

Bungee - keen to finish anywhere between Big Bird and Captain Caveman but definitely ahead of the rhino. ETA from me is 3h45m

Rosco - so long as I beat Jimmy Saville I’ll be happy. Aiming for 3h50m.

Cruden - how did I get roped into this? Booze is a terrible thing. As long as I beat Potts, Karlos and Sophy I’ll be delighted. 4h26m.....

Potters - aim to be breathing down Karlos's neck with 300m to go and see his face when he realises a front rower might beat him. Personal Best is 4h27m...

Karlos - suffering from lack of time for training and a lack of sleep, but have some lovely new running gear with go-faster stripes. Will be happy just to finish, but aiming for 4h30m. Or anytime better than Potter's...

Following the race we will add up our official finish times and the person who has guessed closest wins - simple.

JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please enter now and pass on this link (www.justgiving.com/131milesinhowlong) to anyone you know who may be interested in winning 2 very sought after tickets for a mere £5.

Good luck and thanks for contributing!!!
