Fundraising for Age UK
Story
Since a long time ago I wanted to run the London Marathon and I never got round to applying for running it. That is up until recently - 9 months ago I was accepted to run the marathon with Age Concern / Help the Aged.
Why Age Concern when I am still so young and not ever had to really be involved with them? Generally, it is my grandparents... They have used Age Concern for all manner of things from arranging a cleaner through to fitting a stair rail in their house. Of course Age Concern have also been on hand for advice whenever my grandparents have needed it. After all the work that Age Concern have done, I figured it is time for some well deserved token of appreciation.
So, what do you get for donating to me?Well, I have already run the Silverstone Half Marathon aside from any other training and on top of all of that I will of course be running the London Marathon! That's 39.3 miles of recognised runs!Why donate through my Justgiving page?Why not? I am keen, eager and willing to start and finish. As a first marathon it will be even more of a challenge and therefore a more worthy donation.
