Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year, the Cambridge Seventh-day Adventist church have set a new challenge to cycle 2014 miles for £2014 for the ADRA Charity.

Collectively, we will tally our total mileage, aiming to receieve at least £1 per mile and smash our target from last year!

Funds raised through the 2014 ADRA-UK Appeal will support two specific projects:

·  Providing Livelihoods in Myanmar

With your help ADRA will help over 15 villages with little to no farming and no work, to set up food processing industries and train people in small-scale business skills. Read more about this here!

·   Women’s health project in Gokwe North, Zimbabwe

With your help ADRA will provide 4 women’s maternal health shelters in existing hospitals in Zimbabwe. These shelters will accommodate over 5,000 expectant women for the next 3 years.

Read more about this here!

Funds raised will also support similar projects in Africa, Asia and the UK. They will also respond to international disasters.

You can help contribute to a great cause by cycling with us and raising money, or by sponsoring me and making a donation here.
