Four years ago I could barely run a KM, never mind 2016 of them.
In 2011 I set myself the challenge of running the GNR, this was to get myself some form of fitness but also because I wanted to prove I could do it. I managed to get round and have done it again another three times.
Since then, I stepped it up a gear and challenged myself to run a marathon. I have now run two, the Berlin Marathon in 2014 with my good friend Rob, and the London Marathon in 2015.
Thanks to your kind generosity I have raised thousands of pounds in the process.
I now aim to go not one step, but 1974km further, by running 2016km in 2016. I will be doing this, again with Rob, to raise vital funds for PSC Support. That equates to over 5km (3 miles) a day for the whole year.
I will be entering a number of events throughout the year , including:
Great North Run,
Amsterdam Marathon
Manchester Marathon
Edinburgh Marathon
Redcar half marathon,
North Lincolnshire half marathon
and numerous more!
Please help Rob and I reach our fundraising goal of £2016. Your donations really do mean the world to us and will spur us on through the tough times!
Thanks a lot.
