Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Following our sky dive last year, the boys of Essex Road have been getting itchy feet for a new challenge. So, after some not so careful consideration, we have signed up to the Royal Parks Half Marathon. With the only exercise normally carried out by any of us being the long walk from the fridge to the sofa, we may have underestimated the magnitude of the task. However the day is looming and with only 10 weeks left to get some training in, we need some motivation!

To help us get over the daunting feeling of ‘race day’, please donate to this worthy cause. As some of you may know, I (Harbour) have worked for Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospice for just over a year now. The children that the charity works with may not have a long life ahead of them but it can be made easier along the way. Every penny really does count as we receive all our donations through charitable giving and get no financial support from the government.

Thank you for visiting our page and please remember to state which team member you are donating to as we each have to raise at least £200 individually!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now

About the charity

We help babies, children and young people with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions, and their families, make the most of every day. And we support those who die young to do so in as much comfort as possible, surrounded by family.
