Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We have now completed the Challenge! We did it in 23 hours and 34 minutes. Any donations are still very welcome, just updating to let everyone know we have actually done it!

It was an extremely tough challenge and one none of us will ever forget. Plenty of highs and lows as well as unfortunate encounters such as traffic and getting lost in the dark. In the end we pulled together as a team and made up any time lost by getting up and down the mountains as quick as we could, motivating each other and keeping up the pace. The feeling of getting to the bottom of snowdon in time was like no other and having met other groups doing the same challenge as us but being hours behind made us realise quite what an achievement we had accomplished.

The 5 of us are going to be doing the 24 hour 3 Peaks Challenge. This involves us climbing up Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and then Snowdon in Wales all within 24 hours. This includes the time taken to travel between the 3 peaks.

We will be travelling up to Scotland on Friday 24th September and staying the night in a camp site. We will start our ascent of Ben Nevis at approximately 6pm on Saturday 25th, we start at this time to hopefully avoid any traffic in travelling between the peaks. Once we have completed Ben Nevis we will drive down to Scafell Pike ourselves and then onto Snowdon. The aim is to have climbed to the top of all 3 peaks and back down again before 6pm on Sunday 26th September.

Any donation you can make we would be truly grateful for, thank you again for taking the time to view our page.
