As some of you are aware a close member of my family has non hodgkins lymphoma and has fought and beaten breast cancer. 

This year I decided to do something positive and help raise money for cancer research and so on the 10th October at midnight we will begin a 24hour swim.  There are a few of us taking part and we will aim to swim the width of Dover Straits in the 24hrs.  It is going to be tough (i'm not looking forward to the 12-6am swimming).  Please donate some money or if you are in the Canterbury area and would like to take part then send me an email.
