My story

On Sunday 15th April 2012 I will be running the Brighton Marathon in aid of Steph Robinson and The National Association Crohn's and Colitis. This is a massive occasion for me because I had cartilage damage to my right knee done at the beginning of the year and my running was almost over forever and I want to finish it being very proud of Steph.

This will be my first Marathon.

For those of you that know Steph Robinson you'll know a little more about why I'm raising money for the National Association for Crohn's and Colitis but for those that don't. Steph has Ulcerative Colitis which is a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) This is a horrible disease that has been on ocassions life threatening with regular trips to the hospital. Steph will never fully recover from this disease as there is no cure. She has to take pills everyday sometimes upto 30; many of which have nasty side effects, e.g damaging other vital organs....... it is a vicious circle and difficult to manage. Steph is brilliant and puts on a brave face.

As I'm sure you can understand having to watch someone close to you suffer without being able to do anything about it is very hard so this is why I'm attempting to do the Brighton Marathon, for Steph and everone else that suffers with this debilitating disease.

Lastly Thank you! please give what you can it'll mean alot to Steph and everyone else with IBD.
